Kyrgyzstan mobile operator Megacom has launched its LTE network in the coastal areas of Issuk-Kul lake. An area covering over 30,000 residents has been covered in the town of Cholpon-Ata, villages Bolsteri, Chon-Sary-Oy, Bulan-Sogotti, Baktuu-Dolontuu, Kara-Oy, Chok-Tal and Bayet. The most popular resorts have been covered.

The operator earlier provided LTE services in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Jalal-Abad, as well as in the settlement of Novo-Pokrovka in the Chuy region.
